ABOUT THE FUND

Trustees of Ghanaman Community Reinvestment Grant Trust Fund

The Board of Trustees is composed of individuals who have excelled in their chosen fields of endeavor and have garnered sufficient expertise and experience on both professional and social basis. The wide range of competencies of the Board members includes Finance & Management, Project Development, Social Work, Law, Administration, amongst others. This synergy makes them an ideal team for exercising governance over the Trust Fund.


The Board has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that the purposes for which the Trust Fund was established are met. Furthermore, the Board as a whole and each Trustee individually holds a fiduciary relationship and acts in a fiduciary capacity to the beneficiaries of the Trust Fund, i.e., marginalized communities and groups in Ghana. As such, the Trustees are responsible for exercising the highest standard of care in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Mark Owusu

Chairman

Mark Owusu was, until recently, the Country Program Coordinator for the USADF Ghana Program and prior to that worked as the Finance and Admin Manager for Akuaba Limited.

Margaret Mercy Akofio-Sowah

Vice Chairperson

Margaret has worked with Ghana Commercial Bank as a Banker for 34 years rising through the ranks to become the Branch Manager until her retirement in 2011. She has technical experience in Banking operations and Investment.

Joseph Annan Quaye

Secretary

Joseph Annan Quaye is currently the Managing Consultant of Global Standard Consulting with over eighteen years’ experience in consulting practice, development of business and strategic plans, institutional assessment, business advisory and development, monitoring and evaluation etc.

Lawrencia Adams

Treasurer

Lawrencia Adams has worked with national and donor organizations for more than twenty years and is a senior management and consulting professional in the development field.
