We have temporarily put a hold on funding of new projects and initiatives because the organization’s funds are presently locked up in investments.
We shall inform potential applicants of funds in due course through this medium, our resumption of funding of projects and initiatives when the financial situation of the organization improves.

The mission of the Trust Fund is to fund and promote community-based development projects in Ghana in order to alleviate poverty, solve social problems, economically empower rural communities etc. through funding and promotion of community based development projects.
The Ghanaman Community Reinvestment Grant (CRG) Trust Fund is the direct outcome of the United States African Development Foundation’s (USADF) involvement in Ghana over a period of 10 years, during which time the agency promoted grassroots community-based development by providing small grants and loans to organizations and privately held small and medium enterprises that have links to community or farm-based organizations.

To sustain Ghanaman CRG Trust Fund, there is the need for companies, organizations and individuals to get involved to help fund the many projects that are geared towards developing our rural communities. Every penny and pound you donate goes toward promoting community based development projects to alleviate poverty, solve social problems and empower rural communities especially women.
Since the Trust’s inception, a total of GHS901, 471.92 has been disbursed to support more than 39 projects in the areas of health, water, vocational skills training, and income generating activities, education and sanitation.
The Fund will provide support through community based organizations and other structures working at the grassroots level in the following sectors:
Citizens’ reproductive health care including HIV/AIDS prevention; Support for the provision of basic equipment and medication to make health posts more effective in the provision of health services.

Mark Owusu was, until recently, the Country Program Coordinator for the USADF Ghana Program and prior to that worked as the Finance and Admin Manager for Akuaba Limited.
The Board of Trustees is composed of individuals who have excelled in their chosen fields of endeavor and have garnered sufficient expertise and experience on both professional and social basis. The wide range of competencies of the Board members includes Finance & Management, Project Development, Social Work, Law, Administration, amongst others. This synergy makes them an ideal team for exercising governance over the Trust Fund.
The Board has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that the purposes for which the Trust Fund was established are met. Furthermore, the Board as a whole and each Trustee individually holds a fiduciary relationship and acts in a fiduciary capacity to the beneficiaries of the Trust Fund, i.e., marginalized communities and groups in Ghana. As such, the Trustees are responsible for exercising the highest standard of care in fulfilling their responsibilities.
