COMMUNITY CHILD WEFARE CLINIC

With support from the Trust, an existing structure which was used by the Atebubu District Hospital as children’s clinic was renovated to serve as the children’s clinic of the hospital. Hitherto the health personnel could not attend to the children on rainy days or sometimes when the sun is hot and scorching. The renovated and fully furnished structure is now conducive for weighing, immunization, antenatal and postnatal care as well as general care for children who visit the hospital. The new structure also serves as a youth centre to handle youth related issues such as adolescent reproductive health and teenage pregnancy.
