EDUCATION FOR SELF HELP (ESEH)

In 2010, the Education for Self Help organization (ESEH), an NGO, constructed a pipe-borne water system at Akakpokofe in the Volta Region. A nearby community Abusakofe requested that ESEH extend the facility to them but the request was denied due to a lack of funds. Subsequently, Ghanaman CRG Trust Fund was requested to purchase materials and equipment to extend the pipe-borne water to Abusakofe. The project started in March, 2012 and was commissioned in December, 2012. This has reduced the prevalence of water-borne diseases and improved the health of the people in the Abusakofe community.
